NoFap is FAKE!
the youtubers are lying to you
Hey bro,
Is NoFap Real?
I believe to a certain extent yes, but there is also a TON of fluff out there.
Pretty much every video you see about NoFap has millions of views. So those creators have an invested interest in making it sound as good as possible. (to line their own pockets of course)
In this email, I am going to show you the good AND the bad about NoFap.
There ARE mental benefits to doing NoFap. For me, it added confidence and the ability to focus on the task at hand. I also found I could make decisions faster which increased my productivity.
The majority of the negative parts of porn have to do with your imagination. I found that when I was using heavily (Yes, it's a drug. So I say "using") I would have sexual images in my mind a lot more, which was distracting from my normal life.
There is a certain "shame" that comes with watching porn. You hide it because it's embarrassing. But this bleeds over into sex in general and makes you feel like a creep for having normal sexual urges in your day-to-day life.
NoFap won't turn you into Captain America.
But it is a fantastic way to develop discipline in your life. After all, if you can control your sexual urges it's a walk in the park to get up early and go to the gym.
Life is a sequence of habits. You're either doing the right things or you aren't.
The more right things you do, the easier it is to do more of those things. And the more bad things you do, the more likely you are to do more of those things as well.
This is why I stress momentum.
Because if you can create forward motion on the right path, it's easier to keep going than it is to stop.
And that's when you TRULY have control of your life.
Go get 'em!

P.S. If you want to watch my podcast with Patrick Strevens about NoFap and addiction you can do so here. Patrick had years of addiction problems that he solved with a simple self-improvement routine.
