the journey of a hero
the biggest lesson I've learned
Hey bro,
I want to give you a little bit of backstory to inspire you.
2 years ago, I was addicted to alcohol, drugs, and partying.
I was still reading daily, but I wasn’t getting the results I was looking for.
For some reason, getting up early, sticking to a schedule, and being consistent was next to impossible.
I ended up taking a massive leap of faith and quitting my job during Covid.
I got my car repossessed, I got into a bunch of debt, and gave myself no other options.
It was scary at first.
But things have a way of working themselves out.
Over the last year, I got new friends, quit drinking, moved to a new country, and now I have a rock-solid schedule that I never miss.
So what’s the point of all this?
Faith.
For me, when I was in the trenches, it was very easy to think about giving up.
In fact, it still is.
But there's a cure to all that:
VISION.
You need to be able to see your goals.
All day, every day.
You need to be able to filter out negativity no matter how true it may sound or how much you love the person saying it.
Most people who changed the world were completely “delusional”
In fact, one of my favorite quotes in the world is:
“The people that are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are usually the ones that do.”
Don’t worry about where you are now.
Focus on where you’d like to be.
And you’ll automatically go in that direction.
peace.
