how to get better workouts

(the hard way)

Hey bro,

I discovered a little hack on how to get better workouts.

Normally I do progressive overload (tracking and increasing weight each time)

But I found this way is a lot "easier" and requires less tracking and less bullshit. And you'll also find that your workouts are more intense.

Let's get into it.

Instead of worrying about how much I am lifting, I decided to start counting only when it starts to hurt.

This is a classic technique, but it works.

Most people think if they bench a higher weight they are gaining more muscle.

But in reality, you need to make sure that you are tearing the muscle as much as possible so it can grow back bigger.

Start counting when it hurts and go until failure.

What I like to do is when I can't any more full reps out, I'll do small "pumps" of half and quarter reps to make sure I don't give up too soon.

I also like to think about causing as much pain as possible.

It sounds weird, but there is a reason why people say "no pain, no gain" which also means that "more pain, more gain"

Go get 'em!
