beware of hidden envy
who can you REALLY trust?
Hey bro,
Here is something that you can use for the rest of your life.
After all,
People aren't going away anytime soon. (at least for now)
I studied behavioral science so I am not just blowing smoke.
Humans are animals.
And every animal on this planet is selfish. They have to be.
Their life depends on it.
The only difference between you and a monkey is that you can think in a different way.
You can create images in your mind, and no other animal can do that.
Since we are selfish by nature, we naturally have a "me first" attitude.
When we tell a story, we tell it in a way that paints us in the best light possible.
When we give advice, it's based on personal experience, not on actual fact.
So why does this matter?
I want you to imagine a scenario:
You have an amazing idea that's going to change the world.
And all you want is your friends' support.
The only problem is that your friend has a super negative, defeatist family. So everything he says is painted by a loser mentality.
When you tell your friend about the idea, he says "That's stupid, it'll never work."
In the beginning, you need all the confidence you can get. Because if you don't believe, no one else will.
This biased, negative comment from your friend can make you want to give up before you even start.
So why should you keep that idea to yourself?
Because in reality, not everyone's REALLY on your team.
They may SAY they are,
But when you have a truly great idea, that's when envy shows its ugly head.
Evil exists.
You need to remember that you're the only one you can TRULY trust.
Now this doesn't mean to be paranoid about everyone you see,
But at the end of the day,
YOU are responsible for you.
